How are Egretline guides researched?
Each guide starts from a real traveler question. We answer it from primary sources: U.S. government agencies such as the State Department, CBP, TSA, the Department of Transportation, CDC and NOAA, official port authority websites, and cruise line or supplier websites.
Every page lists its sources at the bottom, and each key fact can be traced to one of them.
What will Egretline never publish?
- Invented statistics, prices, reviews, testimonials, quotes or awards.
- Prices stated as guaranteed quotes. When we give a price, it is a published rate or a range with the month it was checked and a source.
- Claims about places or products we cannot support with a source.
How are pages reviewed and updated?
Egretline founder Sean Williams reviews each page, and the review date is shown near the top. Time-sensitive pages, such as fees, documents and seasons, are rechecked at least every six months, and sooner when a rule changes.
Do suppliers pay for coverage?
No supplier pays for placement in our guides. Egretline Travel does not book travel and is not paid for referrals. Partner advisors are paid by suppliers or clients, not by Egretline; see how travel advisors get paid.
How do I report an error?
Email [email protected] with the page and the correction. We fix confirmed errors and update the review date.
